1. Your Account

You must be at least 13 years old to use our Apps. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

2. The Service

Youversity lets you discover, save, and organize publicly available YouTube videos into structured courses, generate AI-assisted course structures and summaries, enroll in courses created by other users, and track your learning progress. Video content is hosted and delivered by YouTube; we do not host, own, or claim rights over third-party video content.

3. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you create on Youversity, such as course titles, descriptions, and structures ("User Content"). By publishing User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute it within the Apps for the purpose of operating and promoting the service. You are responsible for your User Content and must have the rights necessary to share it.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Apps for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
• Upload or share content that is infringing, defamatory, obscene, harassing, or otherwise objectionable
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Apps, other users' accounts, or our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Apps, including by scraping, reverse engineering, or introducing malicious code
• Misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Use the Apps in a way that violates YouTube's Terms of Service or Google's policies

5. Third-Party Services

The Apps rely on third-party services, including YouTube and Google services. Your use of embedded YouTube content is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of third-party services.

6. AI-Generated Content

Some features of the Apps use artificial intelligence to generate course structures, summaries, and quizzes. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies and is provided for informational and educational purposes only. You should independently verify important information before relying on it.

7. Intellectual Property

The Apps, including their design, technology, branding, and all content we create, are owned by us and protected under applicable copyright and trademark laws. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is strictly prohibited. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks or branding.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Apps and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Apps if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use poses a risk to us, other users, or third parties. Upon termination, provisions that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will remain in effect.

9. Disclaimers

The Apps are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Apps will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any content is accurate or reliable.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Apps. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Apps shall not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to the Service and These Terms

We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue the Apps or any part of them as needed. We may also update these Terms from time to time; we will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a new "Effective Date." Continued use of the Apps after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Apps shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming.
